At the beginning of the year the organization CYCLE (Changing Young Children's Lives through Education) came to Marshall and promised our 2nd grade students that if they reached their reading goals by December they could win a brand new bike and helmet. Each second grader had an individual reading goal to reach a certain number of minutes of reading. The second grade Marlins have been working hard all semester and they have finally reached their goals. A number of awesome second graders went home on last Saturday with a brand new bike just in time for Christmas. Thank you Cycle for Encouraging our students and making their Christmas a little brighter!
