Marshall would like to wish everyone a Happy Black History Month. Along with various learning opportunities Marshall Elementary is hosting two Black History events to celebrate the achievements of many African Americans. The first event will take place on February 6th at 4:00 p.m. it is the Grand Opening of our Black History Museum. The Black History Museum takes place in the library and it showcases artwork and essays by our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Marlins.
Our second event is the Heroes of Heritage Live Wax Exhibit. Heroes of Heritage will take place on February 25th at 5:00 p.m. The block party will have student performances, food, poetry, and live music.
Lastly, we will be having dress up days for Black History Week. This will take place between February 24th-February 28th! See the dates below so that you can dress accordingly.
