3rd -5th Grade Parents,

Thank you for joining us for our STAAR Parent Lunch Celebration—it was a joy to celebrate with you!

If your child missed our last Saturday School session, don’t worry! We still have two more opportunities to support:
📅 April 11
📅 April 18

Students will receive breakfast, lunch, targeted STAAR support, and fun incentives. Every attendance also helps their class earn a class party and parents an opportunity to eat lunch with your student!

Let’s continue working together to help our students finish strong on STAAR. Be sure to contact your child's teacher via ClassDojo to confirm his/her attendance - we look forward to seeing you there! 💙💚

Dear Families,
We are excited to invite your child to participate in our upcoming Saturday Extended Learning Opportunities over the next three weeks. This year’s theme is “212° – Turning Effort into Power.” At 211°, water is hot. At 212°, it creates steam powerful enough to move engines. These Saturday sessions are designed to help your child reach that “212° moment” — where learning, confidence, and achievement come together.

What Students Will Experience:
 Targeted academic support
 Engaging learning activities
 Preparation for upcoming assessments
 Opportunities to earn prizes and recognition

Why Attendance Matters:
Each Saturday your child attends helps strengthen their academic foundation and builds confidence for
success in the classroom. We are also hosting a campus attendance challenge, where students can earn incentives and campuses can win exciting prizes.
Saturday Themes
Week 1: Turn Up the Heat
Week 2: Build the Pressure
Week 3: Shock the World

Event Details:
Saturday: March 28 and April 11
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

We encourage all students to attend and take advantage of this valuable opportunity. Let’s work together to help every student reach their full potential.

Lockdown Drill 8/18/2025 Communication

Marshall Elementary Parents and Guardians,

Please be advised that Marshall Elementary School routinely conducts various safety and emergency drills to provide students and staff an opportunity to practice emergency response procedures, because the safety and welfare of our students and staff is our highest priority.

A Lockdown Drill will be performed tomorrow, August 19, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m. The term “Lockdown” is used when there is an intruder inside the building and is an active threat.

The goal of the drill is to improve our ability to respond in the event of a real emergency and allow us to evaluate our emergency operations plan under the Standard Response Protocol.

Sincerely,

Carla Sadler and Angela Miller
